West Bengal Police recruitment 2015 : West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has given notification for the recruitment of 35 Technical Staff vacancies under Coastal Security Scheme in West Bengal Police on Contractual & Temporary Basis. 1. Sub-Inspector (Technical) : 05 Posts
2. Asstt. Sub Inspector (Technical) : 07 Posts
3. Constable (Technical) : 23 Posts

Post Name : Sub-Inspector (Technical)

Eligibility : Ex-Navy / Ex-Coast Guard / Ex-BSF (Water wing) / Ex-ITBP (water wing) Personnel.

Qualification :

1. Chief Petty Officer / Petty Officer in the Navy, Seaman Branch only (Navigation,Communication, Gunnery, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Clearance Driver and Survey Recorders) [for Ex-Navy personnel].
2. Adhikari / Pradhan Navik in Coast Guard, GD Branch only [for Ex-Coast Guard Personnel].
3. 02 (two) years experience in B.S.F. (water wing) as Sub-Inspector [for Ex-BSF (water wing) personnel].
4. Sub-Inspector (Master) and Sub-Inspector (Engine Driver) [for Ex-ITBP (water wing) personnel].

Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years as on 1st January, 2015.

Post Name : Asstt. Sub-Inspector (Technical)

Eligibility : Ex-Navy / Ex-Coast Guard / Ex-BSF (Water wing) / Ex-ITBP (water wing) Personnel.

Qualification :

1. (a) Petty Officer in the Navy, Seaman Branch only (Navigation,Communication, Gunnery, Anti-Submarine Warfare, Clearance Driver and Survey Recorders) [for Ex-Navy personnel]. (b) Artificer III/IV, Mechanic III/IV, Mechanic (Power / Radio), Petty Officer Electrical Radio) in Navy in technical branch (non-aviation sailor only) [for Ex-Navy personnel].
2. (a) Pradhan Navik in Coast Guard, GD Branch only [for Ex-Coast Guard Personnel].             (b) Yantrik / Uttam Yantrik in Coast Guard, technical branch only [for Ex-Coast Guard Personnel].
3. 03 (three) years experience in B.S.F. (water wing) as Asstt. Sub-Inspector [for Ex-BSF (water wing) personnel].
4. Analogous Post in ITBP (water wing).

Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years as on 1st January, 2015.

Post Name : Constable (Technical)

Eligibility : Ex-Navy / Ex-Coast Guard / Ex-BSF (Water wing) / Ex-ITBP (water wing) Personnel.

Qualification :

1. Leading Seaman / Seaman-1 / Seaman-II in Navy equivalent, all branches [for Ex-Navy personnel].
2. Uttam Navik / Navik in Coast Guard, only GD / Technical Branch [for Ex-Coast Guard Personnel].
3. 03 (three) years experience in B.S.F. (water wing) as Constable [for Ex-BSF (water wing) personnel].
4. Constable (Crew) [for Ex-ITBP (water wing) personnel].

Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years as on 1st January, 2015.

Pay Scale : The remuneration of the selected candidates will be as given below (As approved vide G.O. No. 1009-PL/PB-2G/06/08 dtd. 25th March, 2013) :

1. Sub-Inspector (Technical) : Rs. 29,000/-
2. Asst. Sub-Inspector (Technical) : Rs. 22,000/-
3. Constable (Technical) : Rs. 18,000/-

Application Fee : Candidates should have to pay Rs. 150/- through Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft from State Bank of India (SBI) only drawn in favour of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board payable at Kolkata. No application fee for SC/ST Candidates.Reserved candidates of other state shall pay the requisite fee.

Terms and Conditions :

1. The contract appointment would be for a period of 01 (one) year extendable upto a period of 5 (five) years with provision for yearly performance review with effect from the date of filling up of the posts or till regular recruitment is made whichever is earlier.
2. They would be entitled to a consolidated remuneration only on monthly basis as noted above.
3. Entitled for 14 (Fourteen) days Casual Leave in the Year.
4. Leave availed in excess of 14 (fourteen) days shall be deducted from his salary.
5. Provision of medical facilities and insurance will be considered, if necessary.
6. Appointment will be finalized only for physically and medically fit candidates.
7. The contract appointment is purely temporary.
