Candidates should meets the following Standards :-
Male Candidates : Height - 163 cms (152.5 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and ST); Chest (unexpanded/expanded) - 84 cms/ 89 cms (79 cms/ 84 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and ST).
Female Candidates : Height - 150 cms (145 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and ST); Chest (unexpanded/expanded) - 74 cms/ 84 cms (74 cms/ 89 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, Rajbansis and ST).
Note : The candidate must have sound hearing faculty, eye sight and general fitness for undertaking arduous outdoor work in the Forest Directorate.In the case of defective vision, it must be corrected to at least 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the other eye but the candidate must not suffer from colour blindness or congenital or other diseases of the eye.
Age Limit : Age of candidate must be between 20 (Twenty) years and 32 (Thirty Two) years of age as on 1st January 2015. Age relaxation is applicable upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for BC-A and BC-B Candidates of West Bengal. 2 years for candidates served as Govt. Servant for at least two years. Relaxation available for Ex-servicemen as per Government Rules.
Pay Scale : Pay Band-II (Rs. 5,400/- - 25,200/-) Grade Pay - Rs. 2,900/-
Selection Process : The selection process will be carried Staff Selection Commission of West Bengal. Candidates Shall have to appear at a Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test and Personality Test.
Application Fee : Candidates must pay Rs. 220 (including processing fee of Rs. 20/-) SC/ST candidates should pay Rs. 20/- only as processing fee as they are exempted from paying any Examination fees as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online Mode during submission of Online application form by using Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking or any other option available.
