Kolkata Port Trust Recruitment 2015-16 : Kolkata Port Trust has published a notification for the recruitment of 02 Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator and Junior Engineer Grade-I on direct recruitment Basis. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 18-01-2016.

1. Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator - 01 Nos.
2. Junior Engineer Grade-I - 01 Nos.

Eligibility Criteria :-

For the post of Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator :

Qualification :

1. Must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
2. Must posses a Certificate of Training in Fire Fighting from a recognized Institution / Centre.
3. Must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License for at least 5 years.
4. Must be able to maintain log book and other relevant records.
5. Must have sufficient knowledge of operations and maintenance of different Fire Pumps, Equipments, Appliances and manoeuvering of Foam Crash Tender.
6. Must possess a sound health.
7. Must be able to conduct, Supervise & attend different fire drills and parades.

Experience :
Must have at least 6 years experience in Fire Fighting work in any recognized fire service out of which at least 2 years experience in driving various Fire Appliances like Crash Tender & Jeep Fire Tender.
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 36 years as on 01-11-2015.

For the post of Jr. Engineer Gr.I :

Qualification : Must have Madhyamik or its equivalent examination and possesses L.C.E. Diploma (Diploma in Civil Engineering).

Experience : Should have at least 5 years experience in Civil Engineering Works.

Age Limit : Upper age limit is 35 years as on 01-11-2015.

Salary : 

1. For the post of Fire Engine Driver-cum-Pump Operator : Rs. 16,300/- - Rs. 38,200/-
2. For the post of Jr. Engineer Gr.I : Rs. 23,600/- - Rs. 56,300/-
